Official Contest Rules
Eligibility
The contest is open to legal homeowners within the designated service area who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. This giveaway is limited to owner-occupied primary residences only. Renters, leased properties, Airbnb or other short-term rental properties, and investment properties are not eligible. Employees, affiliates, contractors, and immediate family members of the sponsoring company are not eligible to participate or win.
No Purchase Necessary
No purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or win this giveaway. A purchase will not increase the chances of winning.
Entry Period
Entries will be accepted beginning on January 1, 2026 and ending on December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM local time. Entries submitted outside of the entry period will not be considered.
How to Enter
Participants must submit a nomination through the official giveaway page or designated submission method as provided by the sponsor. All required fields must be completed accurately and in full for an entry to be considered valid.
Nominee Requirements
Nominees must reside within the sponsor’s service area, own and occupy the home as their primary residence, and demonstrate a legitimate need for HVAC repair or replacement. Proof of eligibility and homeownership may be required prior to prize award.
Selection Process
The winner will be selected based on demonstrated need, verification of eligibility, and overall story impact, as determined solely by the sponsor. All decisions made by the sponsor are final and binding.
Prize Description
The prize consists of HVAC repair or full system replacement, with equipment type, system specifications, and installation details determined solely by the sponsor. Manufacturer warranties will remain in place for a period of five (5) to ten (10) years depending on equipment specifications. Any additional maintenance, service, repairs, upgrades, modifications, or extended warranties beyond the manufacturer’s standard coverage shall be the sole financial responsibility of the homeowner.
Winner Notification
Only the selected winner will be contacted via phone and/or email using the contact information provided at the time of entry. Non-selected participants will not receive notification.
Publicity Release
By entering this giveaway, participants grant the sponsor permission to use submitted stories, names, photographs, video, likenesses, and testimonials for promotional, advertising, marketing, and media purposes in any format, without additional compensation, where permitted by law.
Third-Party Sponsor Disclaimer
Any giveaways, prizes, or promotions offered by third-party sponsors, including but not limited to the Just Whips car giveaway, are administered solely by the respective sponsor and are subject to that sponsor’s independent rules, terms, and conditions. All questions, agreements, claims, or disputes related to any third-party giveaway must be addressed directly with the applicable sponsor.
Know A Guy is not responsible for, and shall not be held liable for, any agreements, representations, decisions, or outcomes made between Just Whips and any car giveaway winner. Just Whips participates strictly as a sponsor and operates independently with its own separate rules and obligations. Participation in any third-party sponsored giveaway constitutes acceptance of that sponsor’s separate terms and conditions.
General Conditions
The sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate the contest at any time if fraud, technical failures, administrative errors, or any other factors compromise the integrity or proper functioning of the giveaway.
Limitation of Liability
The sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, late, lost, misdirected, damaged, or corrupted entries, or for technical malfunctions, human error, or unauthorized interference that may affect participation or contest administration.
Compliance with Laws
This giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
